Wow what an honour, first I would like to congratulate all of my fellow peers on their nominations for the ECMA’s 2013. It is great to see all your hard work, dedication and sacrifices have paid off and you are being recognised for your commitment to the music culture and industry.
I am absolutely ecstatic about my album Once being nominated for Roots/Traditional Solo Recording of the Year and to also share the nomination with Bruce Guthro, Jim Dorie, Larry Foley and Tim Chaisson.
This is very exciting news since my last ECMA nomination was in 1997, when I was touring with MacKeel. This album is my first Solo vocal album and one which I am extremely proud of. I had the pleasure of recording Once with two of my favourite musicians and friends, Dave Gunning and Cathy Porter.
Thank you for all the support!
